Tent Camping in the Slocan Valley at Little Camp Slocan

Little Camp Slocan offers tent camping for guests who want a forest-based, small-scale campground experience in the Little Slocan Valley. Sites range from drive-up to walk-in, with layouts shaped by the existing trees and terrain rather than a uniform grid. The result is a campground that feels more personal and more connected to the land, while still giving guests access to hot showers, flush toilets, filtered water at Downtown, and a shared central gathering area.

Little Camp Slocan is a small-scale, off-grid, eco-minded campground designed for self-sufficient adventurers and nature seekers who still appreciate a few added comforts. All stays are pack-in, pack-out. For longer stays, waste removal may be arranged for a fee. Maximum Vehicle Length: 24 ft RV/Camper or 20 ft Trailer; see small RV and trailer guidance before booking.

Off-grid means limited electricity. A few shared charging stations are available downtown — please arrive prepared with your own power needs in mind.

There’s no cell service on site, but campground Wi-Fi is available.

There is no sani-dump, but we do offer flush toilets and showers with hot water.

Our water is non-potable – although we do test and filter it. See campground facilities for more info.

We are located on a Forest Service Road, you can expect rough, bumpy conditions with uneven surfaces, potholes and washboards. Review getting here before you drive.

We’re guests in the forest — expect wildlife, know the do’s and don’ts, and come prepared to securely store all food and other attractants.
